I took this picture of the house on stilts with an exposure time of 13 seconds, an aperture of 13, and a sensitivity of ISO 100. To get this longer exposure time, I used a Haida Filter NanoPro MC ND 1.8 filter. Although it was still early in the morning, the sky was already very bright and to enhance the structure in the sky I used a NanoPro MC GND Medium 1.2 and of course a Haida CPL filter.

The Plothen ponds, also known as the land of 1000 ponds, near Schleiz, in the small town of Plothen. This picture shows a typical morning mood, with some fog over the house pond and this unique house on stilts. This wooden house, built in the 17th century and reconstructed in 1995 by the Plothen local history association, stands on around 50 larch wood stilts. As if you are in a fairy tale, it protrudes from the 32-hectare pond. Inside there is now a small museum about fishing and aquaculture with an exhibition about the history of this building. There is speculation that this house was built as a hunting lodge, but this cannot be said with certainty. For a time, the stilt house was also used for gastronomic purposes.

I have a very clear recommendation for this excursion destination. Since these are not particularly overcrowded, I will certainly visit the Plothen ponds a few more times.
